An incredibly breathtaking example of Indo - Saracenic style of architecture, the Mysore Palace is a magnificent edifice located in Mysore in the state of Karnataka. Also known as the Amba Vilas Palace, it is the former palace of the royal family of Mysore and is still their official residence. Mysore Palace was built in the year 1912 for the 24th Ruler of the Wodeyar Dynasty and is counted amongst one of the biggest palaces in the country.

Recognized as the second tallest church of Asia, St. Philomena's Church was constructed to pay tribute to the Catholic Saint and martyr of Roman Catholic Church, Saint Philomena. It is one of the most important historical sites in Mysuru and is frequently visited by tourists from all over the country. Being one of the most distinctive landmarks of the city, it looks even more beautiful in the evening sky and is given religious importance having a Neo-Gothic style of architecture which makes it all the more famous amongst masses.
This ancient temple is located outside the Mysuru Fort, the main deity being Trinesvara i.e. the three eyed Shiva. The gopura of this temple was destroyed in the 18th century, but the beauty of the Dravidian architecture is still on display here.
This temple built in the Dravidian style is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is said to have healing powers. The 125 feet tall Gopura along with the 7 gold kalash are a must see on visiting this temple.
Guidelines For International Arrival The following is the latest revised guidelines for International Arrivals issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. Before planning for travel: (a) All the travelers are required to submit a self-declaration form on (www.newdelhiairport.in ) at least 72 hours before the travel or physically after the arrival. (b) An undertaking form must be provided at the portal, mentioning that they would undergo facility/home quarantine/ self-monitor their health for the next 14 days. (c) Exemption from institutional quarantine, i.e. 14 days of home quarantine will be given only for compelling reasons. Travelers may also seek exemption from institutional quarantine by submitting a negative RT-PCR test report. (d) Travelers arriving without RT-PCR negative certificate and not opting for RT PCR test at airport (if the facility is available)/arriving at an airport where testing the facility is not available will have to undergo mandatory 7 days’ institutional quarantine and 7 days’ home quarantine. Before boarding: (a) Download the Aarogya Setu app. (b) Only asymptomatic travelers will be allowed to board after the thermal screening. (c) Suitable precautionary measures such as disinfection, social distancing, and environmental sanitation shall be ensured at the airports. During travel: (a) Passengers who had not filled the self-declaration form at the online portal would be required to fill the same at the airport/seaport/land port. (b) While onboard, required precautions such as wearing masks, environmental hygiene, respiratory hygiene, hand hygiene etc. are a must. On arrival: (a) Social distancing and personal hygiene must be ensured during the whole travel. (b) Thermal screening would be carried out by the Health officials. The self-declaration form shall be shown to the airport health staff. (c) The passengers found to be symptomatic during screening shall be immediately isolated and taken to a medical facility. (d) Passengers shall be taken to suitable institutional quarantine facilities, to be arranged by the respective State/ UT Governments. They will be quarantined for a minimum of 7 days. Testing will be done as per the ICMR protocol. International passengers arriving at seaports/land ports : 1. All the passengers arriving through seaports/land ports will also have to undergo the same protocol as mentioned above, except the facility for online registration is not available for such passengers currently. 2. Such passengers should submit the self-declaration form to the concerned authorities on arrival. Guidelines for Domestic Travel Air: 1. Passengers must install Arogyasethu app and fill in the self-declaration form. Details of the self-declaration form must be accurate, else penal action can be taken against the passenger. 2. Please ensure a valid domestic mobile number is provided in the booking. 3. It is mandatory that each and every passenger must be tele- checked in prior arrival at the airport. 4. Passengers to web check in through https://icheck.sita.aero/iCheckWebIX/Home 24 hours to 2 hours before departure of your flight. 5. Passengers must carry the boarding pass to the airport. 6. Details of passenger name and PNR must be affixed or tied with a strong string to the baggage, clearly and securely on the suitcase before airport arrival. 7. Only 1 check-in baggage and 1 hand baggage allowed. 8. Baggage Trolleys to be used sparingly at the Airport. 9. Report at least minimum two hours prior departure but not more than 4 hours prior to the departure. 10. Complete the check-in and baggage drop at least one-hour prior to departure. Railways and Road: 1. Passengers must install Arogyasethu app and fill in the self-declaration form. Details of the self-declaration form must be accurate, else penal action can be taken against the passenger. 2. Please ensure a valid domestic mobile number is provided in the booking.
